At times, it feels like I’m not even living on the same planet with people like this.

President Trump, as well as his base of tens of millions of supporters, need to prepare themselves for chaos in 2024. The witch hunt directed against President Trump and his supporters is a sign of the insanity and hysteria infecting the Democratic Party. No matter how the 2024 election turns out, it will be destabilizing for the country.

More importantly, Trump simply cannot trust the courts in any Democrat controlled state or the Biden regime’s Department of Injustice to treat him fairly. President Trump’s legal problems require political solutions.

Make no mistake, the law is on President Trump’s side. The prosecutions against the President are politically motivated and spurious. It is not necessary, or even useful, to discuss the specifics or legal theory behind those cases here. Trump has a powerful legal team. They know the law and they know their client is innocent.

But to the agents of the Biden regime, none of this matters. Trump’s popularity among voters is a sign, in the liberal mind, of how great a threat he poses to Our Democracy. They will beg, borrow, cheat, and steal to keep him from winning.

Uhhh HUH. So it’s your contention, then, that even though they’re perfectly willing to, and I quote, "beg, borrow, cheat, and steal,” along with indicting, trying, and imprisoning Trump on obviously spurious “charges” in defiance of the fact that they’re purportedly “deeply afraid” of him—and by extension, of US—it is nonetheless somehow to be taken as read that after all that rampant dishonesty, skullduggery, and outright criminality, they will somehow feel themselves honor-bound to respect a "political solution" to all this? SRSLY?!?

Thou fool. Thou starry-eyed, wet-behind-the-ears, Pollyanna-esque bloody fool.

Let us assume President Trump isn’t thrown in prison, left-wing Secretaries of State allow him on the ballot, and the Democrats do not successfully “fortify” the election. In that situation, Donald Trump wins in 2024 in an electoral landslide. Even so, in that case, I believe we will see widespread political violence from the Left that will far surpass in size and scope the George Floyd riots of 2020.

The Left is deeply afraid of President Trump. They are also in charge of tremendous financial resources. The leadership of virtually every institution in American life from Wall Street to the woke military despises ordinary Americans and the MAGA movement. The Biden regime would be more than happy to sic their communist paramilitaries, like ANTIFA, on the heartland.

This is a dangerous possibility and one that all patriotic Americans need to be ready for.

Indeed they do. Which “need to be ready for” does NOT encompass steeling one’s resolve to VOTE HARDERER!!!™ at them, nor MOAR TRUMP RALLIES, nor PEACEFUL, NONVIOLENT PROTEST, nor any other such repeatedly-failed tommyrot.

But they do have options. For one, the Trump campaign should start now by laying the groundwork for widespread pro-Trump rallies and protests if the President is unjustly imprisoned. The trucker rally in Canada is the model. At its height, the Canadian government nearly imploded in the face of this public pressure.

Operative word: NEARLY. Notice, please, that the Canadian government of one Justin Castreaux is still in place—still ruling our neighbor to the north, still strangling the economic and political life out of its hapless, ineffectual subjects, to most definitely include the aforementioned truckers.

OTTAWA, Ontario — Hundreds of truckers clogging Canada's capital stood their ground and defiantly blasted their horns Thursday, even as police arrested two protest leaders and threatened to break up the nearly three-week protest against the country's COVID-19 restrictions.

Busloads of police arrived near Ottawa's Parliament Hill, and workers put up extra fences around government buildings. Police also essentially began sealing off much of the downtown area to outsiders to prevent them from coming to the aid of the protesters.

"The action is imminent," said interim Ottawa Police Chief Steve Bell. "We absolutely are committed to end this unlawful demonstration.”

Police arrested organizers Tamara Lich and Chris Barber around Parliament Hill, but officers were not moving in force on the demonstrators. Police took Lich into custody late Thursday.

Police continued negotiating with the protesters and trying to persuade them to go home, Bell said. "We want this demonstration to end peacefully," he said, but added: "If they do not peacefully leave, we have plans."

Bold mine, revealing the iron fist inside the velvet barbed-wire-wrapped glove: the complete absence of any flinching from the implicit threat of violent action therein. Also note ye well that the above-quoted report is from February of ’22, and that as of right now those Canadian truckers are still forced to confirm their “vaxxinated” status upon re-entering Canada from the US; are still having their wages withheld; and are still being driven into penury by high diesel prices—all of which, taken in concert, provided the impetus for the strike in the first place.

In sum, then, the Canadian trucker protest, though an entirely honorable and admirable effort, ended in abysmal failure. And this, according to this Lippincourt fellow, should be “the model” for Trump and his supporters, for whom it can be expected to work out not one bit differently.

GREAT idea, pal. Speaking strictly for myself, I’ll just quote Sir John Gielgud, offering well-wishes to Liza Minelli in the movie Arthur: “Good luck in prison.” Maybe y’all can get together with the hundreds of J6 “rioters” for some of that sweet, sweet Jailhouse Rock action.

Those who do not learn the lessons of history are doomed to repeat them. Likewise, those who set out to resist the illegitimate edicts of a tyrannical government while remaining mulishly in denial regarding the fundamental nature of tyrannical government are equally doomed, and for the same damned reason.

Beyond encouraging protests and a transport strike, President Trump should also consider simply refusing to go along with these corrupt prosecutions. This is a high stakes option but it has the benefit of putting the Biden regime in an uncomfortable position. If President Trump refused to show up to court, decrying these legal prosecutions as illegitimate (which they are), he will force the deep state either to give up their witch hunt or to use force to make President Trump submit.  

Are they really willing to take such a drastic step?

Personally, I’ve already endorsed the idea of Trump refusing to further cooperate with his tormenters, even though I have no illusions at all about the likelihood of it keeping him out of prison. That said, let’s see now. Have they evinced any sign to date that they are NOT willing to, prithee tell? Any sign at all? Even once?

Anyone? Bueller…?!?

God bless Josh Lippincott; I don’t like to come down so hard on him, really I don’t. His heart is certainly in the right place, at least. But he (mis)underestimates—quite badly—who and what The Enemy really is, and is capable of. Thus, his is a recipe not for retaking a stolen nation, but for disaster and ultimate defeat.
