Sick day

Apologies to all you Eyrie fans, but the past two days have been pretty rough ones for Ye Aulde Hoste. Lots of noise being made by the space where my right leg used to be, if by “noise” you mean “OWW!! Oh my GOD that fucking hurts! Lay off, will…OWWWWW!”

I’ve been all but immobilized, barely able to shift myself from the crappy Simmons mattress I paid way too much money for back five years ago when I moved in here to the wheelchair, then back again, then back again, lather rinse repeat etc etc. Been having dizzy spells also, another unpleasantness which is entirely new for me.

Add in that this tired old keyboard is showing every sign of being about ready to give up the ghost as well, and…well, I’m sure you can see where all this is going. I’ll do my dead-level best to at least get a meme post up here sometime tomorrow in lieu of our usual Friday night par-tay, but people in my condition are well advised not to be making promises of any kind, so I will refrain.
