Tehran Mayor: War With ‘Great Satan’ U.S. ‘Is Ongoing, Existential’
The mayor of Tehran is reaffirming that the murderous mullahs’ endless jihad against America will not be halting for any “peace deal,” no matter how favorable to them.

Most wars throughout history end with decisive victory, and when your enemy is committed to terrorism, decisive victory is an absolute necessity. Otherwise “peace” is by definition very temporary. The Islamic regime of Iran has been at war with America for 47 years, because their ideology of bringing the Mahdi’s (Islamic Messiah’s) reign into being through jihad is more consuming than any material incentive we could possibly give them. Westerners have a tendency to forget that just because our foreign policy isn’t based primarily on our religious beliefs, that doesn’t mean the same applies to fundamentalist Muslims.

Iranian parliament speaker Mohammad-Baquer Ghalibaf called for global jihad and bragged about his “victory” over the U.S. after the peace deal announcement. Tehran’s Mayor Alireza Zakani was even more open on June 18 about the regime’s goals in an IRINN TV appearance that the Middle East Media Research Institute translated. “In a military sense, this war is existential, because the Iranian people have rejected the post-WWII world order, and the Islamic Republic has trampled upon it,” he said, as usual saying “the Iranian people” when he really means the domestically unpopular regime. “The U.S. simply cannot tolerate a country serving us an inspiration and a role model for other countries that seek to block the Great Satan [i.e., America] from exerting its mischief. Hence, the struggle is existential.” Don’t forget some fundamentalist Muslims and Hitler were allies during WWII.

The Moslems are actually WORSE than Hitler, if such a thing is even possible. Certainly, they’re every bit as not-sane, every bit as intractable, every bit as deluded as Uncle Adolf ever was. Onwards.

And then Zakani revealed the reason for the regime’s unending jihad. “We possess an ideology that is centered on a new Islamic civilization, which is founded on the preparation for the appearance [of the Mahdi],” Zakani said. “This vision requires a powerful Iran, which the U.S. wants to thwart. Therefore, it is entirely obvious that we are in the midst of war.”

The Iranian regime is feeling extremely triumphant, and Zakani is no exception. “The victories we have secured in this war must lead to even bigger triumphs. We are currently in the thick of it. It is as if we just finished the first round of a wrestling match,” he argued. “We scored a lot of points, but we have not yet reached the ten-point technical superiority for the [referee] to lift our hand, nor have we managed to win by pinning our rival to the mat.”

That doesn’t much bother Zakani, who believes the jihad must simply continue until “death to America” is accomplished.

And that’s closer to becoming reality now than it ever has been. I never thought I’d say or even think such a thing, but even Donald Trump lacks the will to stay the course and win through to victory against the jihadi nightmare, evidently. And if Trump lacks said will, can there be any among us who does not?

Iranian Minister Threatened U.S., Framed Diplomacy As Mere Tactic to Defeat America
Two days ago, the foreign minister of Iran once again issued a series of threats against the United States, framing diplomacy as merely a tool for forcing the United States out of the area and proudly declaring that America would not be safe so long as its troops were within reach of the Iranian regime.

Below is one of Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi’s posts from June 9. The language of victory is important not because the Iranian regime hasn’t been using it throughout this operation (it has) but because Araghchi clearly has absolutely no sense of humility or chastened suit for peace. He is not talking like someone who believes he has to beg for peace on the victor’s terms. He is talking like someone guaranteed “peace” on his own terms.

The language is incredibly ironic when you reflect that Araghchi’s regime came to power by overthrowing the ancient Persian monarchy, massacred 40,000+ of its own Persian people in January, and still has tens of thousands of Persian dissidents in jail. The terrorist Islamic regime is Muslim first, not Persian first. But since we all know that, I will move on to Araghchi’s other threats.

Which she then does, most deftly, capably, and with a depth of insight to which Trump’s “Art of the Deal” obsession has left him blind, apparently. Salgado’s conclusion is as inevitable as it is inescapable, suggesting as it does an extremely depressing question: Did we really learn NOTHING AT ALL from 9/11? I mean, REALLY?!?

Apparently, at least some of us didn’t learn a damned thing.

As usual, just after Trump announced the final phases of a peace deal, the terrorist Iranian regime leaked fake terms to explode the process and force a redo. Trump posted on Truth Social on Friday, “The terms that Iran leaked out to the Fake News have NOTHING to do with the terms that were agreed to, in writing. What they said, including their weak and pathetic statement on having a deal, bears no relation to the truth. Very dishonorable people to deal with. With them, there is no such thing as dealing in good faith. AMAZING! Also, their totally rebuffed Drone attack last night against Indian Ships leaving the Hormuz Strait is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. They better get their act together, and FAST!”

Uh huh. Alas, only Trump could find all this surprising.

The entire ideology of the terrorist Islamic regime of Iran is built around destroying every non-Muslim country, but especially America and Israel. We cannot reasonably expect them to change their entire reason for existence because we eliminated a few of their leaders, whom they believe went straight to eternal reward in paradise. Of course Trump wants peace. So do we all. So have we for 47 years. But peace only happens when both sides want it.

And that right there is the for-true bottom line, at least for those of us not addicted to the “anything for a DEAL—ANY deal, at any cost” approach.

The cruel, lonely death of Henry Nowak has caused a storm here in the United Kingdom.

It should send a shiver down your spine too — for it provides a chilling insight into the barbarism of wokeness.

Yet it would be a mistake to see Henry’s death as a failure by individual officers.

No, this horror speaks to a deeper moral rot: It reveals the corrosive effect the ideology of wokeness has had on the institutions of our society.

The reason the cops believed the knife-wielding monster and dismissed his dying victim is simple: The killer was a brown-skinned man, and his victim was a white-skinned man.

Critical race theory is rife in Britain’s police forces.

Under official guidance, cops must believe every accusation of a “hate crime.”

They’re trained to always be on the lookout for racism.

Indeed Hampshire Police, which covers Southampton, boasts of its devotion to the woke state’s holy mission of hunting down “hate.”

Its “race action plan” fizzes with the kind of critical-race drivel you hear on every Ivy League campus.

It describes the Minnesota death of George Floyd in 2020 as a “pivotal moment” for Britain’s police, too.

That tragedy compelled the force, it says, to be “anti-racist” in all police actions.

It’s precisely their embrace of the post-Floyd BLM mania that led these cops to grossly demean young Henry.

Having imbibed the infantile script that casts whites as oppressors and non-whites as oppressed, they were primed to believe Digwa and to doubt Henry.

To them, he was just a white man, and what could be worse than that?

Why, nothing, of course. JD Vance puts the boot in:

Henry Nowak died the same way a civilization dies: abandoned, handcuffed by authorities who neither trusted nor cared for him, and accused of hate crimes he did not commit. His murder is as tragic as it is enraging. He should still be alive today, and he would be if the last few generations of European elites had stood their ground against the politics of self-hatred and the mass invasion of migrants, many of whom despise the West and the people who love it.

Henry was far from the first to so needlessly lose his life, and I fear he won’t be the last. Each time a life like his is lost, the proper response—the only response—is righteous anger. One of the most important things the Trump administration has proven to the world is that stopping the flow of mass migration and defending national sovereignty is a matter of political will and leadership. Anything else is an excuse.

It is because we love the West that we want to preserve it. We love our civilization. We love our country. We love our children. And nobody—nobody—should ever die the way that Henry Nowak died. May God comfort those who loved him, and may God rest his soul.

And may God have mercy on the rest of us, for we know not what we do.

California Teaches Native Americans How to Light a Fire
The state has approved funding for “food sovereignty,” owl counting, and “cultural burns.”

California Governor Gavin Newsom has allocated millions of dollars to a program that funds Native American “food sovereignty,” owl counting, and “cultural burns,” in which tribal groups use traditional fire techniques to clear brush from the landscape and preserve their “close kinship” with plants, animals, and “other natural relatives.”

“Food sovereignty.” “Cultural burns.” “Natural relatives.” Yep, that’s California all right. But does it get even more California still? Of COURSE it does; we haven’t even gotten to the “throwing millions of taxpayer dollars right down the toilet” part of it yet.

Since 2023, the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, or CAL FIRE, has awarded $24 million to tribal groups and other nonprofits as part of its “Tribal Wildfire Resilience” program. The man effectively overseeing the program, Natural Resources Secretary Wade Crowfoot, believes that California was founded on a “state-sanctioned policy of genocide” and that the state has pursued “decades of land dispossession, discrimination, and disconnection.” The Newsom administration, he said, was making progress in returning the land to the “leadership of California Native American tribes.”

As part of this commitment to “cultural burning,” California has created separate fire-certification processes for nontribal and tribal populations. White, black, Latino, and Asian fire bosses must receive technical certifications, including a 40-hour burn-boss course and, in some cases, a federal certificate. “Cultural fire practitioners,” by contrast, are certified through simple tribal recognition that a person has “substantial experience” burning for cultural purposes.

The “cultural burns” themselves follow various rituals. Some begin with drumming, sage burning, and a prayer. Attendees sometimes go around in a circle, introducing themselves to the land. In the words of Ron Goode, chief of the North Fork Mono Tribe, the land listens to the incantations, and the intention is “to make sure that everything on the landscape—Mother Earth, Creator, everybody—understands why we’re there and what we’re there for.”

OH yeah; turn a bunch of welfare-dependent lowlifes loose in a tinder-dry forest with matches, no instructions, and no supervision and have them light up the shrubbery and get a drum circle started—THAT’S gonna work out well. I mean, what could possibly go wrong, amIright? Ahh, but here comes killjoy Chris Rufo with some more of those pesky, annoying facts to ruin the party.

While any group is entitled to preserve its heritage, taxpayers are not obligated to subsidize it. California Democrats have sought to mask their handouts to the tribes as a public good, but these are reckless expenditures for a fiscally strained state, with massive risks. The dry season is approaching—and California politicians are playing with fire.

DAVID MARCUS: How Democrats sneaked in reparations, and how they’ll protect them
James Carville’s advice to ‘just do it’ without talking about it mirrors what’s already happened

The battle over reparations for racial minorities in the United States has grown somewhat quiet in recent years, but it’s not because proponents of it have surrendered. It’s because they have already won.

The list of ways in which our government redistributes wealth to minorities is long, as you’ll see below, but first, it’s worth paying attention to something that Democratic strategist James Carville said recently.

Referring to packing the Supreme Court and making Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico states, should Democrats retake power, the cagey old Cajun said, “Don’t run on it. Don’t talk about it. Just do it.”

I posit that this is precisely what Democrats have done in regard to reparations.

He’s perfectly correct about that, as will become all too clear directly.

Even reparations studies themselves, of which there has been an endless supply and which all seem to land on needing more money for more studies, is a form of reparations.

Democrats aren’t even particularly shy about their use of reparations anymore. New York Mayor Zorhan Mamdani, as a candidate, defended his plan to heavily tax “wealthier and whiter,” neighborhoods, by saying, “That is just a description of what we see right now. It’s not driven by race. It’s more of an assessment of what neighborhoods are being under-taxed versus over-taxed.”

For some reason, Madman Mamdani thinks that if he phrases it this way he isn’t saying, “White people have too much money so the government will give some of it to non-White people,” but that is exactly and literally what he is saying.

This is how normalized and regular the use of reparations has already become in our society.

Democrats are not trying to bring about reparations, they already have. What they are doing now is protecting the multibillion-dollar industries that their backdoor reparations have already created.

For “industries” in that last line above, read “rackets.” It’s a less evasive, much more truthful way of putting it.

Why the Founding Fathers Rejected Democracy in Favor of Representative Government
To begin, let’s look at elements of American history and determine if the Constitution calls for America to function as a pure “democracy,” as some claim it does, or at least that it should.

In a letter to John Taylor, dated December 17, 1814, U.S. President John Adams wrote,

“Remember, Democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts and murders itself….It is vain to say that Democracy is less vain, less proud, less selfish, less ambitious, or less avaricious than Aristocracy or Monarchy.”

Additionally, Founding Father James Madison wrote,

“Democracy is the most vile form of government…democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention; have ever been found incompatible with the personal security or the rights of property, and have in general been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths.”

Alexander Hamilton also argued during a series of debates,

“Real liberty is neither found in despotism or the extremes of democracy, but in moderate governments… But if we incline too much to democracy, we shall soon shoot into a monarchy.”

But wait, you ask, isn’t America a nation “of the people, by the people, and for the people”? Yes, of course. But as shown in these iconic statements, and in the words of the Constitution, America was intended to be governed not by a “direct democracy” but rather by a “representative republic.”

This is clear in the composition of the U.S. Senate, where residents of each state are given equal representation regardless of their state’s population, and in the Electoral College, in which states appoint electors, who elect the president of the United States based upon the proportional value of each state’s population, not by a direct popular vote system. By contrast, the House of Representatives is elected by a more direct and popular vote system, as each of the 435 congressional districts in the U.S. House are drawn according to population, or approximately 765,000 residents per district after the 2020 census.

However, the original structure of how Congress is chosen has changed. While House members are, and have always been, elected through direct vote by the people, that was not always the case for senators. Initially, U.S. senators were elected by state legislatures. In 1913, thanks to a push by the burgeoning progressive movement of the early 20th century, the 17th amendment allowing direct election of senators was ratified, giving the people the ability to choose their senators just like they do their House members — via a statewide popular vote.

And if the progressives have their way in the 21st century, there will be no Electoral College electing the President but instead a nationwide popular vote.

Ultimately, the Founders’ original approach was all designed to provide “checks and balances,” giving the United States the “moderate government” that Alexander Hamilton discussed.

Arguably, a pure democracy and an authoritarian monarchy are mirror images of each other, being subject to the whims of human nature, and as such make for fundamentally flawed approaches to government. In a pure democracy, giving “power to the people without restraint” is the ultimate goal, and while this idea may seem good in practice, it rests on one, fundamental assumption that is clearly at odds with a biblical worldview — that mankind is essentially good.

We know this is not true from a basic reading of Scripture. In Psalm 53:3, we read, “They have all fallen away; together they have become corrupt; there is none who does good, not even one,” and the Apostle Paul references this passage again in Romans 3:10-12.

Inversely, in an authoritarian monarchy, everything the king does is justified because it is in his own best interest. This brings to mind some of the philosophies discussed in Machiavelli’s famous work, The Prince, most significantly, the belief that the acquisition of power is what matters most, not morality or legitimate authority. In other words, “the ends justify the means,” which is anathema to biblical governance.

As such, a pure democracy and an unrestrained monarchy are two roads that both lead to tyranny. They simply take different routes to get there.

The framers of the U.S. Constitution were clear that the ability of a bare majority — meaning, half of those who are eligible and actually exercise their right to vote, plus one additional vote — to leverage power over the remaining population posed a grave threat to the stability and identity of the American nation.

It’s why they wrote, over and over again, that a pure, direct form of democracy was not their favored approach to American government. It’s also why they instituted safeguards such as the Electoral College, the composition of the U.S. Senate, and making it so difficult to amend the U.S. Constitution.

Ultimately, while the design and framework for constitutional government is meant to uphold and protect the freedom of its citizens as much as possible in an imperfect, fallen world, that freedom cannot be absolute and it must include responsibility. Part of that responsibility entails not creating a tyranny of the majority, whereby a bare majority gets to rule over the minority. That is a formula for divisiveness, not good governance that seeks to consider and ensure the well-being of all citizens.

Then Watergate. Democrats won huge majorities in 1974. They slashed aid by over 75%, banned any U.S. response to Soviet rearmament of the North, and watched as the Communists violated every agreement.

No bullets. No gas. No tires for their Jeeps.

South Vietnam collapsed—not from lack of courage, but abandonment by the same Democrats that sent our sons to die there a decade earlier.

What followed wasn’t peace. It was hell.

The Domino Theory wasn’t wrong. Cambodia and Laos fell. Pol Pot—praised by the American left as “Cambodia’s George Washington”—murdered 1/3 of his own people.

A million sent to re-education camps in Vietnam. Half a million murdered. Two million boat people fled; nearly half a million drowned.

I was eight, standing in a church hall in Arkansas, looking up at a South Vietnamese flag on a refugee’s lapel. I just wept and said “I’m sorry” over and over.

We should all still be sorry.

Oh, some of us are, definitely. Then again, all too many of us are not, and won’t ever be.

When the British Mandate was established in 1920, the Arabs living between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean were not yet calling themselves Palestinians. Many of them had arrived in recent decades, drawn by the economic opportunities that Jewish immigration had created, draining swamps, building cities, founding hospitals, newspapers, orchestras, and universities.

The British offered these Arabs something remarkable: a political framework, protected rights, and a path toward self-determination. It was an opportunity to build.

So they built. But what they built was not cities or universities. They built an ethos, and the foundation of that ethos was violence against Jews. Not against the British, because this was never really about colonialism, and they knew it. The British were useful — they blocked Jewish immigration, favored Arab political demands, and helped manufacture an Arab identity where there had been only loose tribal affiliations before.

Under British protection — and often with British indifference — they massacred Jewish families in their homes, slaughtered worshippers inside synagogues, raped women, mutilated bodies, smashed the skulls of children. In Hebron. In Jerusalem. In Safed. In Jaffa.
